Jemma graduated from Trinity College Dublin as a pharmaceutical technician before going on to study Nutritional Therapy at the Institute of Health Sciences from where she graduated in 2010. She now lectures for the Institute and supervises clinical practice weekends. Jemma also works as a Product Consultant for BioCare Supplement Company and regularly delivers seminars to healthcare professionals from the CPD accredited “Clinical Protocols” programme throughout Ireland as well as advising retailers and practitioners about products, possible drug-nutrient interactions and general nutrient supplementation. She holds a monthly slot on her local radio station discussing numerous health and nutrition related topics and operates a busy nutrition clinic at No.36 The Mall, Waterford.
Jemma is a registered Foresight practitioner and has a special interest in the area of using food and nutrition to improve fertility, female hormone balance and balancing thyroid function. More recently in 2013, Jemma completed the IHS Certificate in Health and Wellness coaching which she feels is a fantastic tool she now practices in clinic.
